Ok, since we were just starting out and didn't have enough interest for a real fundraiser in 2025, you are stuck with our director goofing around and creating a placeholder for the 2026 season. Here are some of the avatars he created of his friends for the site.
Artistic Background and Style
Nad M Nosilla, is noted as a general contrarian, printmaker, sometimes songwriter, and a giver of great wisdom if he has enough Irish Tea.
Personal Insights:
As a young artist in my twenties I was a flash out of the pan, but now I need GPS to even find the stove. While my mind is swimming with intention, time is chipping away at my mortal coil.

Family and Exhibitions
A 1978 Huntsville Item article featured a family group art show featuring cousins that included Fritz Gumberwitz Sr. and Little Abner Gumberwits alongside other family members, highlighting the family's artistic contributions to the Piney Woods of East Texas.
Fritz Gumberwitz Sr.:
Gumberwitz was a commercial artist in the city of Cut & Shoot during the 1960s. He also worked for Fingers Furniture in Houston as layout artist, contributing to their advertising and promotional materials. His work was recognized for its creativity and impact on the company's branding during that era.
Little Abner Gumberwits:
Little Abner was active in the Houston art scene during the 1970s., and participated in local art exhibitions in Cut & Shoot Museum of Rodeo History, wile winning many first and third place ribbons at the Huntsville Prison Rodeo. His work was appreciated for its unique style and engagement with contemporary rustic scenery featuring deer drinking for local wooded streams.
