Arts Rescue Mission -Aid For Aging Artists

Art Legacy Exchange: this is a great place to post images of work so that friends families and associates can choose artworks from any collection that is downsizing.

The Arts Rescue Mission provides a space for registered users to list artworks they wish to give away—whether they’re moving and can’t take everything with them, downsizing, managing an estate, or simply looking to pass on pieces to new caretakers.

 

This platform is not for selling artwork; rather, it allows individuals to make artworks available to family, friends, museums, and institutions that may have an interest. Listings are open for a limited two-week period to keep the process efficient.

During the registration process with us, artworks can be identified with title, date, media, and size to help ensure that any significant pieces are recognized and listed appropriately. This helps maintain the integrity of the art market and respects the role of galleries in protecting the value of the works they represent.

After consultation it may be deemed that the pieces being posted in our gifting area may only need to have numbers assigned for friends and families making selections. We will take a look to determine valuable pieces that need to be marked as such.
