Placing Art & Collectables for Collectors & Artists:
This is a great place to post images of work so that friends, families, and associates can choose artworks from any collection that is downsizing. The Arts Rescue Mission provides a space for registered users to list artworks they wish to gift, whether they’re moving and can’t take everything with them, downsizing, managing an estate, or simply looking to pass on pieces to new caretakers. This space can be used for individual artists as seen here, or collections from patrons in general with multiple items including furnishings and valuables. After years of working with clients ArtFlow realized no one wanted to meet at a storage locker especially at the end of days for someone they cared about. ARM by the way is the non-profit counterpart of ArtFlow in case you were wondering. It's all about giving back.
This example of a special case and not all offerings here would be this elaborate. Patrons only need to have numbers on each of the pieces for choices to be made by friends and family. The usual title, date, media, and size are not necessary here. The only thing essential is that friends family and Associates don't have to go to a storage locker to pick pieces that in the present moment or in the future they might be interested in having in their homes, offices, or institutions.
Please note: Identifying the pieces you are selling or gifting is simplified using just numbers for identification. If you are thinking about giving to institutions, or you think you have some valuable pieces that need more details, we will consult with you and see if you you need more information about the maker, title, date, media, and size. So please have some of that ready when you get in contact with us and tell us what you have in mind.
If you have commentary about the items you are leaving this would the place to leave your thoughts. We suggest 500 words or less but you can be the judge of that of course.
This is a good place to put works that collectors leaving estates or downsizing, and artists needing to lighten their monthly storage fees could use for artworks and collectables, to gift or sell not destined for the museums. This area is reserved for collectibles. No exercise equipment, baby carriages, or broken furniture allowed. This is a classy space and we mean to keep it that way. Save your broken radios for eBay. Of course if the furniture has last names it's allowed, and any other real collectibles patrons are in need of selling or gifting to family, friends and aquitances. Get in touch with us and will set you up. Suggested limit is about 50 pieces. Thank you!
No, this isn't real so don't try to order any of these generic "ART FARE" pieces from this happy couple who are downsizing in their later years. However please note this is an area where you would be able to tell people where to meet you, what storage locker, what date & time, and any other particulars for friends, family, associates, and institutions that have chosen artworks from the numbered pieces you are offering in your gallery. If it matters and you have the artist's name, date, media, and size, please tag your image as such when you send them in to us to post for you here. Otherwise they just get numbered. They stay on line for a period of two weeks and we can send out to 3000+ ARM members if you like
